Most exhausting day of my life
On Saturday I got up at 7am and popped onto the skytrain for a hour ride to burrard street for an interview at my new job. Finally after asking tourist upon tourist regarding the location of the local Sheraton hotel I found my way to the worksite. Arriving at about 9am I sat in the lobby of the hotel waiting for my potential employer to greet me as I did some law homework in the luxurious Sheraton hotel wall center on Burrard street(Vancouver). At 10am I met the employer and the interview went well and I left after putting some finishing touches on my application. Feeling good about my interview, I decided to stroll around downtown Vancouver then take a 5 hour slow walk around the seawall. By the time I finished my feet were sore and so I returned home at 4:30 pm. Upon returning home my father told me that the employer called and wanted me working from 5:30pm until 2:30am but the train back home stopped at 1:15am so they settled for 5:30-12:30. Being excited about the quick employment I rushed down to the jobsite where I worked shuffling around thousands of bottles & glasses, cleaning dishes, monitoring banquet servers, and throwing out food. I found my job extremely interesting because I was working among top culinary chefs and I could eat as much gourmet food as I wanted because it was going to be thrown out anyways and it was never even touched. The job was extremely fast paced(we were serving 2700 rich people at a banquet &dance that night) and I could not believe it when my supervisor told me to throw out hundreds of pounds of perfectly good cheesecake, chicken, salmon, oysters, lasagna, and more. I never knew what it took to cater to such large banquet and such rich people before I worked here. Infact it was so busy that night that I was requested to stay until 3:30 working overtime with double pay plus I got room and board at a 4 diamond luxury hotel on the 29th floor overlooking Burrard street(The part that surprised me was that I had to stay in it with another 20 year old male. Being a tad bit homophobic I was reluctant at first but we got along fine). By the end of it all I was so exhausted and could barely keep my eyes open and just wanted to get into my hotel room to shower and sleep(but I couldn't help but to indulge into the internet, cable TV, video games, and food before I went to bed). The next day more was still required of me since I had to do a filming project that was supposed to be a serious spoof of an episode of CSI and I was the victim. This was honestly the most exhaustng day of my life****Ok well I didn't go to school today since I was so damn tired and wanted to catch up on some school work but I did take an online quiz to see what highschool sterotype I was.
Take the What High school sterotype Are You? quiz.****
