Workin on Hydraulic Arm

I decided to start a new project that involves alot of hydraulics using 50-cc syringes and lots of wood in order to create a fully functional wooden arm with a control panel. I got the idea when I visited the British Columbia Institute of Technology and saw the 100 thousand dollar robotic arms they had hooked up to the computers that I got to tinker around with which made me think I could do it using solely hydraulic power from syringes I got from the pharmasave down the street and air lines to connect the syringes from a pet store (used for aquarium air lines). I have sketched out a couple plans for it and plan to start building it when school starts and I have access to a powerful drill.
Speaking of school, it starts for me in 8 more days and I find myself wanting to go back since I find learning in grade 11/12 is fun since most of my courses FINALLY MAKE SENSE unlike before when you had no idea why you were doing certain types of math or weird English exercises. Another reason that I want to get back in school is because I have grown alot and packed on muscle(I am 6 feet tall now and about 140 pounds). For this year I took physics 11(never took in grade 11), math 12, information technology 12, studio arts 12, law 12, and a couple others which I don't really care about.
I have also been working at the Pacific National Exhibition(PNE) Prize Home yet again and I find it quite fun not because I am forced to put on a rubber smile all day and entertain elderly women all day but because I work with 3 other guys and like 20 hot girls (all older then me tho :( ..lol). One thing that I do hate about that job tho is how it is so exhausting cause the weather is hot and humid, you gotta talk all day long, and your boss is very sneaky and is waiting for the perfect moment to pounce on you and give you a lecture on work ethics. The best thing about this job is it looks good on the resume because I have been with them for 4 years now and I am only 16 so that shows commitment to a job and I have a variety of past experience in jobs that work well in marketing myself as a worker in my resume.
*** Anyways I gotta work tommorow and I feel like playing some multiplayer games on the internet so peace out, see ya later, au revoir, Arrivederci, Adiòs amigos, im OUT! l8r!!****

In debt for the very first time..

Yep, today I found out that I am in debt 60$ in my TD canada trust account because my gym sent in a application to withdrawal $26.75 for my monthly membership when I had already paid them ahead of time. Not only did they screw up on their paperwork but they also tried again to withdrawal money from my account which meant another check bouncing which I am now expected to pay and they don't come cheap either, it is a $30 fine for having a check bounce which put me in debt by $60(Luckily I still got my Scotia savings account still juiced up). I'm not going to pay the $60 fine anyways(just going to convince em that it wasn't my fault and I wont be a future customer if they don't clear this up for me) but this has taught me a lesson anyways that debt really does not feel very good even with such a small amount like $60, its kinda like having a rather small monkey on your back and the only way to get rid of it is to give it one of your precious banana's (bad analogy I know!).
By the by, I also won 3 tickets to wake west which is a Canadian wake boarding championship event in the beer gardens featuring bands such as "SUM 41", "BIF Naked", "Tea Party", and "Social Disorder". I won the tickets from a Canadian teenager demographics company called "Digital Youth" by replying to a E-mail they sent out asking a question in which the first 20 "Digital Youth" members who replied to the email with the right answer would win 3 tickets to the 3 day event going from August 26-29 (2004) with a retail value of $65 per ticket. I am not actually going to go since none of my friends are into the whole concert going thing or punk rock in general so that's why I think this is a perfect opportunity for me to involve myself in the wonderful world of ticket scalping which is a semi-illegal activity. If all goes well I'll be ticket scalping as a part time gig for side cash since these people(Professional Ticket Scalpers) usually sell the ticket for upto 3-20 times more(Depending on seating) than the original price and usually work through eBay.
***Anyways, imma go, bed time now so I'm going to think up a story so I don't have to pay that $60 fine and get my beauty sleep for the 7 day full-time work weeks I have ahead of me until school starts.(yes... Got yet another job at a recycling plant for plastic and glass bottles) ***

Busy Busy Busy

Lately its been a hot week here in Vancouver. It makes it really hard to wake up and go to bead when you wake up all sweaty and its a pain in the butt knowing your not going to have barely any free time when you wake up either. I've done quite a few things since my last post such as attending the "Symphony Of Fire" fireworks show which was a riot and interesting to see 400,000 people along the beach and walking home on the same street as you. I've also been having alot of nightsweats because I am so nervous about my tests and my finals that come at me so fast that I don't know my stuff as well as I should, but thank god I got my TI-83+ calculator because it saves me from alot of the questions that I seriously am just stooped on. I'm just nervous about the test results (their worth 40% of term mark) that I will find on my scantron test tommorow morning because those marks are what I paid 300$ for and sacrificed half my summer vacation for and if I don't do really well my parents are gonna be pissed that they forked over that money in hopes that I did really good.
I just got back from my guest services training down at the pacific national exhibition which was fun and very informative because I learned about how first impressions work and I learned alot about how customer service and problem solving really helps a business to succeed in times where a customer is impatient and has many other options.
I have really started to enjoy reading alot since I started reading a witty and raunchy book (Book Title "I am the one that I want") by Margaret Cho, a Korean comedian from sanfransico that uses alot of imitations of her foreign mother, makes jokes about her relationships with the homosexual men of Sanfransisco and the strange sex acts they practice and fat jokes about herself all in one very entertaining book that has made me chuckle on the bus on numerous occasions .
** Well since I have some free time finally I am going to... well I'm not sure but I'm gunna RELAX! Wish me luck on the test results tommorow! L8r!***
